٢١ يا أيها الذين صدَّقوا الله ورسوله وعملوا بشرعه لا تسلكوا طرق الشيطان، ومَن يسلك طرق الشيطان فإنه يأمره بقبيح الأفعال ومنكراتها، ولولا فَضْلُ الله على المؤمنين ورحمته بهم ما طَهُرَ منهم أحد أبدًا مِن دنس ذنبه، ولكن الله- بفضله- يطهر من يشاء. والله سميع لأقوالكم، عليم بنياتكم وأفعالكم.
٢٢ ولا يحلف أهل الفضل في الدين والسَّعَة في المال على ترك صلة أقربائهم الفقراء والمحتاجين والمهاجرين، ومنعهم النفقة؛ بسبب ذنب فعلوه، ولْيتجاوزوا عن إساءتهم، ولا يعاقبوهم. ألا تحبون أن يتجاوز الله عنكم؟ فتجاوزوا عنهم. والله غفور لعباده، رحيم بهم. وفي هذا الحثُّ على العفو والصفح، ولو قوبل بالإساءة.
٢٣ إن الذين يقذفون بالزنى العفيفات الغافلات المؤمنات اللاتي لم يخطر ذلك بقلوبهن، مطرودون من رحمة الله في الدنيا والآخرة، ولهم عذاب عظيم في نار جهنم. وفي هذه الآية دليل على كفر من سبَّ، أو اتهم زوجة من زوجات النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بسوء.
٢٥ في هذا اليوم يوفيهم الله جزاءهم كاملا على أعمالهم بالعدل، ويعلمون في ذلك الموقف العظيم أن الله هو الحق المبين الذي هو حق، ووعده حق، ووعيده حق، وكل شيء منه حق، الذي لا يظلم أحدًا مثقال ذرة.
٢٦ كل خبيث من الرجال والنساء والأقوال والأفعال مناسب للخبيث وموافق له، وكل طيِّب من الرجال والنساء والأقوال والأفعال مناسب للطيب وموافق له، والطيبون والطيبات مبرؤون مما يرميهم به الخبيثون من السوء، لهم من الله مغفرة تستغرق الذنوب، ورزق كريم في الجنة.
٢٧ يا أيها الذين صدَّقوا الله ورسوله وعملوا بشرعه، لا تدخلوا بيوتًا غير بيوتكم حتى تستأذنوا أهلها في الدخول وتسلموا عليهم وصيغة ذلك من السنة: السلام عليكم أأدخل؟ ذلكم الاستئذان خير لكم؛ لعلكم تتذكرون- بفعلكم له- أوامر الله، فتطيعوه.
21 O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
22 And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
23 Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment
26 Evil words are for evil men, and evil men are [subjected] to evil words. And good words are for good men, and good men are [an object] of good words. Those [good people] are declared innocent of what the slanderers say. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.
27 O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded.
21 Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu menurut jejak langkah Syaitan; dan sesiapa yang menurut jejak langkah Syaitan, maka sesungguhnya Syaitan itu sentiasa menyuruh (pengikut-pengikutnya) melakukan perkara yang keji dan perbuatan yang mungkar. Dan kalaulah tidak kerana limpah kurnia Allah dan rahmatNya kepada kamu, nescaya tidak ada seorang pun di antara kamu menjadi bersih dari dosanya selama-lamanya; akan tetapi Allah membersihkan sesiapa yang dikehendakiNya (menurut undang-undang peraturanNya); dan (ingatlah Allah Maha Mendengar) lagi Maha Mengetahui
22 Dan janganlah orang-orang yang berharta serta lapang hidupnya dari kalangan kamu, bersumpah tidak mahu lagi memberi bantuan kepada kaum kerabat dan orang-orang miskin serta orang-orang yang berhijrah pada jalan Allah; dan (sebaliknya) hendaklah mereka memaafkan serta melupakan kesalahan orang-orang itu; tidakkah kamu suka supaya Allah mengampunkan dosa kamu? Dan (ingatlah) Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Mengasihani.
23 Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menuduh perempuan-perempuan yang terpelihara kehormatannya, yang tidak terlintas memikirkan sebarang kejahatan, lagi yang beriman, akan dilaknat (oleh Allah) di dunia dan di akhirat dan, mereka pula akan beroleh azab seksa yang besar;
25 Pada hari itu Allah akan menyempurnakan untuk mereka balasan (azab seksa) yang berhak mereka mendapatnya, dan mereka pula akan mengetahui bahawa Allah ialah Tuhan Yang Maha Adil, lagi nyata keadilanNya.
26 (Lazimnya) perempuan-perempuan yang jahat adalah untuk lelaki-lelaki yang jahat, dan lelaki-lelaki yang jahat untuk perempuan-perempuan yang jahat; dan (sebaliknya) perempuan-perempuan yang baik untuk lelaki-lelaki yang baik, dan lelaki-lelaki yang baik untuk perempuan-perempuan yang baik. Mereka (yang baik) itu adalah bersih dari (tuduhan buruk) yang dikatakan oleh orang-orang (yang jahat); mereka (yang baik) itu akan beroleh pengampunan (dari Allah) dan pengurniaan yang mulia.
27 Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu masuk ke dalam mana-mana rumah yang bukan rumah kamu, sehingga kamu lebih dahulu meminta izin serta memberi salam kepada penduduknya; yang demikian adalah lebih baik bagi kamu, supaya kamu beringat (mematuhi cara dan peraturan yang sopan itu).

Raed Awad, shown in 2009 at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center where he was imam, lived in Alabama from 2004-2011 and helped lead the Muslim community in interfaith relations.

"Imam Raed Awad passed away in Kuala Lumpur after a long battle with health issues and recently with cancer,"
Awad, 56, moved to Birmingham in 2004 and left Alabama in 2011 to move to Malaysia.
When the Alabama Faith Council started, he was the first to represent Muslims. He helped promote understanding between our Christian and Jewish partners. That was his passion, to lead the Muslim community."
Awad was a sometimes controversial figure serving as a spokesman for the Muslim community and a leader for the Birmingham Islamic Society.
''I love this community,'' Awad said before he left. ''I love Birmingham in general and I love the Muslim community here.''
Awad was imam at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center when it opened in 2008.
"He gave a friendly face and a friendly voice to Islam," said the Rev. Steve Jones, former pastor of Southside Baptist Church, who was friends with him. "It wasn't always met with friendliness. He believed intently in what he believed. He said he wanted to work with people and teach them about Islam, and he did."
Awad said in 2011 that his wife, Nur, whom he married in 2009, was pregnant and he wanted to return home to Malaysia. ''My wife misses her family,'' he said.
Awad had four children with his first wife, Isabella, and then helped raise two stepchildren he had with his second wife, Katy Carr, who he met in Alabama.
"My son didn't know another father," said Carr, who kept in contact with Awad after their divorce.
She said Awad ran a restaurant and catering business in Malaysia with his wife and her family.
"He seemed really happy there," Carr said. "He loved to cook. He was Chef Raed. She did beautiful pastries and cakes. He was doing lamb. He was teaching cooking classes."
Awad served from 1994 to 2000 as imam of the Masjid Al Iman mosque in Fort Lauderdale that was attended by Muslim convert Jose Padilla, who lived in Broward County from 1991 to 1998 and was arrested in 2002 at a Chicago airport on suspicion of plotting a ''dirty bomb'' attack for al-Qaida. Padilla was indicted for aiding terrorists and convicted in 2007 of conspiracy to murder.
Awad said he knew Padilla slightly but had no influence over him. Awad testified at Padilla's trial.
Awad, a Palestinian, also came under scrutiny as a fundraiser for The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, which the U.S. government shut down in 2001 for its connections to the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
Awad said at the time he raised funds to help Palestinian hospitals, orphanages and schools. He said he had no decision-making authority with Holy Land Foundation and never saw evidence of funds being directed to violent activities.
Awad largely overcame initial suspicion and was accepted in Birmingham as a spokesman for Muslims at numerous interfaith events, said Jones. ''Our folks loved him,'' Jones said. ''He was very engaging."
At the time he left Alabama, Awad said he hoped to work on interfaith dialogue in Malaysia, which is 60 percent Muslim, with the Buddhist, Hindu and Christian minorities there.
21 O you who believe! Do not follow Satan's footsteps. Whoever follows Satan's footsteps—he advocates obscenity and immorality. Were it not for Allah's grace towards you, and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever. But Allah purifies whomever He wills. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
22 Those of you who have affluence and means should not refuse to give to the relatives, and the needy, and the emigrants for the sake of Allah. And let them pardon, and let them overlook. Do you not love for Allah to pardon you? Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
26 Bad women are for bad men, and bad men are for bad women, and good women are for good men, and good men are for good women. Those are acquitted of what they say. There is forgiveness for them, and a generous provision.
27 O you who believe! Do not enter homes other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted their occupants. That is better for you, that you may be aware.

١١ إن الذين جاؤوا بأشنع الكذب، وهو اتهام أم المؤمنين عائشة رضي الله عنها بالفاحشة، جماعة منتسبون إليكم - معشر المسلمين- لا تحسبوا قولهم شرًّا لكم، بل هو خير لكم، لما تضمن ذلك مِن تبرئة أم المؤمنين ونزاهتها والتنويه بذكرها، ورفع الدرجات، وتكفير السيئات، وتمحيص المؤمنين. لكل فرد تكلم بالإفك جزاء فعله من الذنب، والذي تحمَّل معظمه، وهو عبد الله بن أُبيِّ ابن سلول كبير المنافقين- لعنه الله- له عذاب عظيم في الآخرة، وهو الخلود في الدرك الأسفل من النار.
١٤ ولولا فَضْلُ الله عليكم ورحمته لكم بحيث شملكم إحسانه في دينكم ودنياكم فلم يعجِّل عقوبتكم، وتاب على مَن تاب منكم، لأصابكم بسبب ما خضتم فيه عذاب عظيم.
١٥ حين تتلقفون الإفك وتتناقلونه بأفواهكم، وهو قول باطل، وليس عندكم به علم، وهما محظوران: التكلم بالباطل، والقول بلا علم، وتظنون ذلك شيئًا هيِّنًا، وهو عند الله عظيم. وفي هذا زجر بليغ عن التهاون في إشاعة الباطل.
١٦ وهلا قلتم عند سماعكم إياه: ما يَحِلُّ لنا الكلام بهذا الكذب، تنزيهًا لك - يارب - مِن قول ذلك على زوجة رسولك محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، فهو كذب عظيم في الوزر واستحقاق الذنب.
١٩ إن الذين يحبون شيوع الفاحشة في المسلمين من قَذْف بالزنى أو أي قول سيِّئ لهم عذاب أليم في الدنيا بإقامة الحد عليهم، وغيره من البلايا الدنيوية، ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار إن لم يتوبوا، والله- وحده- يعلم كذبهم، ويعلم مصالح عباده، وعواقب الأمور، وأنتم لا تعلمون ذلك.
٢٠ ولولا فَضْلُ الله على مَن وقع في حديث الإفك ورحمته بهم، وأن الله يرحم عباده المؤمنين رحمة واسعة في عاجلهم وآجلهم، لما بيَّن هذه الأحكام والمواعظ، ولَعاجل مَن خالف أمره بالعقوبة.
11 Indeed, those who came with falsehood are a group among you. Do not think it bad for you; rather it is good for you. For every person among them is what [punishment] he has earned from the sin, and he who took upon himself the greater portion thereof - for him is a great punishment.
13 Why did they [who slandered] not produce for it four witnesses? And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they, in the sight of Allah, who are the liars.
14 And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter, you would have been touched for that [lie] in which you were involved by a great punishment
15 When you received it with your tongues and said with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge and thought it was insignificant while it was, in the sight of Allah, tremendous.
19 Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know.
11 Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang membawa berita yang amat dusta itu ialah segolongan dari kalangan kamu; janganlah kamu menyangka (berita yang dusta) itu buruk bagi kamu, bahkan ia baik bagi kamu. Tiap-tiap seorang di antara mereka akan beroleh hukuman sepadan dengan kesalahan yang dilakukannya itu, dan orang yang mengambil bahagian besar dalam menyiarkannya di antara mereka, akan beroleh seksa yang besar (di dunia dan di akhirat).
12 Sepatutnya semasa kamu mendengar tuduhan itu, orang-orang yang beriman - lelaki dan perempuan, menaruh baik sangka kepada diri (orang-orang) mereka sendiri. dan berkata: "Ini ialah tuduhan dusta yang nyata".
13 Sepatutnya mereka (yang menuduh) membawa empat orang saksi membuktikan tuduhan itu. Oleh kerana mereka tidak mendatangkan empat orang saksi, maka mereka itu pada sisi hukum Allah, adalah orang-orang yang dusta.
14 Dan kalaulah tidak kerana adanya limpah kurnia Allah dan rahmatNya kepada kamu di dunia dan di akhirat, tentulah kamu dikenakan azab seksa yang besar disebabkan kamu turut campur dalam berita palsu itu; -
15 Iaitu semasa kamu bertanya atau menceritakan berita dusta itu dengan lidah kamu, dan memperkatakan dengan mulut kamu akan sesuatu yang kamu tidak mempunyai pengetahuan yang sah mengenainya; dan kamu pula menyangkanya perkara kecil, pada hal ia pada sisi hukum Allah adalah perkara yang besar dosanya.
16 Dan sepatutnya semasa kamu mendengarnya, kamu segera berkata: "Tidaklah layak bagi kami memperkatakan hal ini! Maha Suci Engkau (ya Allah dari mencemarkan nama baik ahli rumah Rasulullah)! Ini adalah satu dusta besar yang mengejutkan".
17 Allah memberi pengajaran kepada kamu, supaya kamu tidak mengulangi perbuatan yang sedemikian ini selama-lamanya, jika betul kamu orang-orang yang beriman.
19 Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang suka terhebah tuduhan-tuduhan yang buruk dalam kalangan orang-orang yang beriman, mereka akan beroleh azab seksa yang tidak terperi sakitnya di dunia dan di akhirat; dan (ingatlah) Allah mengetahui (segala perkara) sedang kamu tidak mengetahui (yang demikian).
20 Dan kalaulah tidak kerana adanya limpah kurnia Allah dan rahmatNya kepada kamu, dan juga (kalaulah tidak kerana) bahawa Allah Amat melimpah belas kasihanNya, (tentulah kamu akan ditimpa azab dengan serta-merta).
وكذلك جعلناكم أمة وسطا لتكونوا شهداء على الناس ويكون الرسول عليكم شهيدا

أنفسكم وأهليكم نارا وقودها الناس والحجارة عليها ملائكة غلاظ شداد لا يعصون الله ما أمرهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون
that the Messenger of Allah said: "Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise,' Uthman is in Paradise, 'Ali is in Paradise, Talhah is in Paradise, Az-Zubair is in Paradise,' Abdur- Rahman bin 'Awf is in Paradise, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas is in Paradise, Sa'eed is in Paradise, and Abu' Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah is in Paradise. "
حدثنا قتيبة, حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد, عن عبد الرحمن بن حميد, عن أبيه, عن عبد الرحمن بن عوف, قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "أبو بكر في الجنة وعمر في الجنة وعثمان في الجنة وعلي في الجنة وطلحة في الجنة والزبير في الجنة وعبد الرحمن بن عوف في الجنة وسعد في الجنة وسعيد في الجنة وأبو عبيدة بن الجراح في الجنة ".

Narrated Sa'id ibn Zayd:
AbdurRahman ibn al-Akhnas said that when he was in the mosque, a man mentioned Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). So Sa'id ibn Zayd got up and said: I bear witness to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that I heard him say: Ten persons will go to Paradise: The Prophet (ﷺ) will go to Paradise, AbuBakr will go to Paradise , Umar will go to Paradise, Uthman will go to Paradise, Ali will go to Paradise, Talhah will go to Paradise: az-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam will go to paradise, Sa'd ibn Malik will go to Paradise, and AbdurRahman ibn Awf will go to Paradise. If I wish, I can mention the tenth. The People asked: Who is he: So he kept silence. The again asked: Who is he: He replied: He is Sa'id ibn Zayd.
حدثنا حفص بن عمر النمري, حدثنا شعبة, عن الحر بن الصياح, عن عبد الرحمن بن الأخنس, أنه كان في المسجد فذكر رجل عليا عليه السلام فقام سعيد بن زيد فقال أشهد على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أني سمعته وهو يقول "عشرة في الجنة النبي في الجنة وأبو بكر في الجنة وعمر في الجنة وعثمان في الجنة وعلي في الجنة وطلحة في الجنة والزبير بن العوام في الجنة وسعد بن مالك في الجنة وعبد الرحمن بن عوف في الجنة ". ولو شئت لسميت العاشر. قال فقالوا من هو فسكت قال فقالوا من هو فقال هو سعيد بن زيد.

11 Those who perpetrated the slander are a band of you. Do not consider it bad for you, but it is good for you. Each person among them bears his share in the sin. As for him who played the major role—for him is a terrible punishment.
14 Were it not for Allah's favor upon you, and His mercy, in this world and the Hereafter, you would have suffered a great punishment for what you have ventured into.
15 When you rumored it with your tongues, and spoke with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and you considered it trivial; but according to Allah, it is serious.
19 Those who love to see immorality spread among the believers—for them is a painful punishment, in this life and in the Hereafter. Allah knows, and you do not know.
