Tafsir Muyassar :  تفسير المیسر

٨٨  قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَكَ مِنْ قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ

٨٨  قال السادة والكبراء من قوم شعيب الذين تكبروا عن الإيمان بالله واتباع رسوله شعيب عليه السلام: لنخرجنك يا شعيب ومَن معك من المؤمنين من ديارنا، إلا إذا صرتم إلى ديننا، قال شُعيب منكرًا ومتعجبًا من قولهم: أنتابعكم على دينكم ومِلَّتكم الباطلة، ولو كنا كارهين لها لعِلْمِنا ببطلانها؟

٨٩  قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللَّهُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَعُودَ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا ۚ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۚ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

٨٩  وقال شعيب لقومه مستدركًا: قد اختلقنا على الله الكذب إن عُدْنا إلى دينكم بعد أن أنقذنا الله منه، وليس لنا أن نتحول إلى غير دين ربنا إلا أن يشاء الله ربنا، وقد وسع ربنا كل شيء علمًا، فيعلم ما يصلح للعباد، على الله وحده اعتمادنا هداية ونصرة، ربنا احكم بيننا وبين قومنا بالحق، وأنت خير الحاكمين.

٩٠  وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَخَاسِرُونَ

٩٠  وقال السادة والكبراء المكذبون الرافضون لدعوة التوحيد إمعانًا في العتوِّ والتمرد، محذرين من اتباع شعيب: لئن اتبعتم شعيبًا إنكم إذًا لهالكون.

٩١  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

٩١  فأخذَتْ قومَ شعيب الزلزلةُ الشديدة، فأصبحوا في دارهم صرعى ميتين.

٩٢  الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۚ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ

٩٢  الذين كذَّبوا شعيبًا كأنهم لم يقيموا في ديارهم، ولم يتمتعوا فيها، حيث استؤصلوا، فلم يبق لهم أثر، وأصابهم الخسران والهلاك في الدنيا والآخرة.

٩٣  فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ آسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ

٩٣  فأعرض شعيب عنهم حينما أيقن بحلول العذاب بهم، وقال: يا قوم لقد أبلغتكم رسالات ربي، ونصحت لكم بالدخول في دين الله والإقلاع عما أنتم عليه، فلم تسمعوا ولم تطيعوا، فكيف أحزن على قوم جحدوا وحدانية الله وكذبوا رسله؟

٩٤  وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

٩٤  وما أرسلنا في قرية من نبي يدعوهم إلى عبادة الله، وينهاهم عمَّا هم فيه من الشرك، فكذَّبه قومه، إلا ابتليناهم بالبأساء والضراء، فأصبناهم في أبدانهم بالأمراض والأسقام، وفي أموالهم بالفقر والحاجة؛ رجاء أن يستكينوا، وينيبوا إلى الله، ويرجعوا إلى الحق.

٩٥  ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوْا وَقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

٩٥  ثم بدَّلنا الحالة الطيبة الأولى مكان الحالة السيئة، فأصبحوا في عافية في أبدانهم، وسَعَة ورخاء في أموالهم؛ إمهالا لهم، ولعلهم يشكرون، فلم يُفِد معهم كل ذلك، ولم يعتبروا ولم ينتهوا عمَّا هم فيه، وقالوا: هذه عادة الدهر في أهله، يوم خير ويوم شر، وهو ما جرى لآبائنا من قبل، فأخذناهم بالعذاب فجأة وهم آمنون، لا يخطر لهم الهلاك على بال.

Saheeh International

٨٨  قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَكَ مِنْ قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ

88  Said the eminent ones who were arrogant among his people, "We will surely evict you, O Shu'ayb, and those who have believed with you from our city, or you must return to our religion." He said, "Even if we were unwilling?"

٨٩  قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللَّهُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَعُودَ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا ۚ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۚ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

89  We would have invented against Allah a lie if we returned to your religion after Allah had saved us from it. And it is not for us to return to it except that Allah, our Lord, should will. Our Lord has encompassed all things in knowledge. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."

٩٠  وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَخَاسِرُونَ

90  Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, "If you should follow Shu'ayb, indeed, you would then be losers."

٩١  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

91  So the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.

٩٢  الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۚ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ

92  Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was as though they had never resided there. Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was they who were the losers.

٩٣  فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ آسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ

93  And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"

٩٤  وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

94  And We sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that We seized its people with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to Allah].

٩٥  ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوْا وَقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

95  Then We exchanged in place of the bad [condition], good, until they increased [and prospered] and said, "Our fathers [also] were touched with hardship and ease." So We seized them suddenly while they did not perceive.

Basmeih

112 - Al-Ikhlas

٨٨  قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَكَ مِنْ قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ

88  Ketua-ketua yang sombong takbur dari kaum Nabi Syuaib berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami akan mengusirmu wahai Syuaib dan orang-orang yang beriman yang menjadi pengikut-pengikutmu dari negeri kami ini, atau kamu berpindah kepada ugama kami". Nabi Syuaib menjawab: "Adakah (kamu hendak melakukan yang demikian) sekalipun kami tidak menyukainya?

٨٩  قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللَّهُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَعُودَ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا ۚ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۚ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

89  "Sesungguhnya (bermakna) kami berdusta terhadap Allah, jika kami berpindah kepada ugama kamu sesudah Allah menyelamatkan kami daripadanya. Dan tidaklah harus kami berpindah kepadanya sama sekali, kecuali jika Allah Tuhan kami, menghendakinya. Pengetahuan Tuhan kami meliputi akan tiap-tiap sesuatu. Kepada Allah jualah kami bertawakal. Wahai Tuhan kami, hukumkanlah antara kami dan kaum kami dengan kebenaran (keadilan), kerana Engkau jualah sebaik-baik Hakim".

٩٠  وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَخَاسِرُونَ

90  Dan berkatalah pula Ketua-ketua yang kafir dari kaum Nabi Syuaib (kepada orang ramai): "Sesungguhnya jika kamu mengikut Syuaib nescaya kamu dengan perbuatan yang demikian menjadilah orang-orang yang rugi".

٩١  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

91  Maka mereka dibinasakan oleh gempa, lalu menjadilah mereka mayat-mayat yang tersungkur di tempat masing-masing.

٩٢  الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۚ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ

92  Orang-orang yang mendustakan Nabi Syuaib (punah-ranah) seolah-olah mereka tidak pernah mendiami negeri itu. Orang-orang yang mendustakan Nabi Syuaib, merekalah orang-orang yang rugi.

٩٣  فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ آسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ

93  Kemudian Nabi Syuaib meninggalkan mereka sambil berkata: "Wahai kaumku! Sesungguhnya aku telah menyampaikan kepada kamu perintah-perintah Tuhanku, dan aku telah memberi nasihat kepada kamu. Oleh itu, tidaklah aku merasa sedih terhadap orang-orang kafir (yang telah binasa itu)".

٩٤  وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

94  Dan (Tuhan berfirman): Kami tidak mengutus dalam sesebuah negeri seorang Nabi (yang didustakan oleh penduduknya), melainkan Kami timpakan mereka dengan kesusahan (kesempitan hidup) dan penderitaan (penyakit), supaya mereka tunduk merendah diri (insaf dan tidak berlaku sombong takbur).

٩٥  ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوْا وَقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

95  Setelah (mereka tidak juga insaf) Kami gantikan kesusahan itu dengan kesenangan hingga mereka kembang biak (serta senang-lenang) dan berkata (dengan angkuhnya): "Sesungguhnya nenek moyang kita juga pernah merasai kesusahan dan kesenangan (sebagaimana yang kita rasakan)". Lalu Kami timpakan mereka (dengan azab seksa) secara mengejut, dan mereka tidak menyedarinya.

Ma Jian

٨٨  قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَكَ مِنْ قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ

88  他的宗族中骄傲的贵族们说：舒阿卜啊！我们一定要把你和你的信徒们逐出城外，除非你们再信我们的宗教。他说：即使我们厌恶你们的宗教，也要我们再信奉它吗？

٨٩  قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللَّهُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَعُودَ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا ۚ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۚ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

89  真主使我们脱离你们的宗教后，如果我们再去信它，那末，我们确已假借真主的名义而造谣了。除非真主--我们的主--意欲，我们不会再信你们的宗教。我们的主的知觉是包罗万物的，我们只信托真主。我们的主啊！求你在我们和我们的宗族之间依真理而判决吧，你是至善的判决者。

٩٠  وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَخَاسِرُونَ

90  他的宗族中不信道的贵族们说：如果你们顺从舒阿卜，那末你们一定是亏折的人。

٩١  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

91  于是，地震袭击了他们，顷刻之间，他们都僵卧在各人的家里。

٩٢  الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۚ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ

92  否认舒阿卜的人，好像没有在那个城市里居住过一样。否认舒阿卜的人，确是亏折的。

٩٣  فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ آسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ

93  于是，他离开他们，并且说：我的宗族啊！我确已把我的主的使命传达给你们了，并向你们提出了忠告。我怎能哀悼不信道的民众呢！

٩٤  وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

94  我-派遣一个先知到一个城市去，（而他被人否认），我总要以穷困和患难惩治其居民，以便他们谦逊。

٩٥  ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوْا وَقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

95  随后我转祸为福，直到他们富庶，并且说：我们的祖先确已遭过患难，享过康乐了。于是，当他们不知不觉时，我惩治他们。

Our Lord has encompassed all things in knowledge. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."

89  "Sesungguhnya (bermakna) kami berdusta terhadap Allah, jika kami berpindah kepada ugama kamu sesudah Allah menyelamatkan kami daripadanya. Dan tidaklah harus kami berpindah kepadanya sama sekali, kecuali jika Allah Tuhan kami, menghendakinya. Pengetahuan Tuhan kami meliputi akan tiap-tiap sesuatu. Kepada Allah jualah kami bertawakal. Wahai Tuhan kami, hukumkanlah antara kami dan kaum kami dengan kebenaran (keadilan), kerana Engkau jualah sebaik-baik Hakim".

89  真主使我们脱离你们的宗教后，如果我们再去信它，那末，我们确已假借真主的名义而造谣了。除非真主--我们的主--意欲，我们不会再信你们的宗教。我们的主的知觉是包罗万物的，我们只信托真主。我们的主啊！求你在我们和我们的宗族之间依真理而判决吧，你是至善的判决者。

٩٠  وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَخَاسِرُونَ

٩٠  وقال السادة والكبراء المكذبون الرافضون لدعوة التوحيد إمعانًا في العتوِّ والتمرد، محذرين من اتباع شعيب: لئن اتبعتم شعيبًا إنكم إذًا لهالكون.

90  Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, "If you should follow Shu'ayb, indeed, you would then be losers."

90  Dan berkatalah pula Ketua-ketua yang kafir dari kaum Nabi Syuaib (kepada orang ramai): "Sesungguhnya jika kamu mengikut Syuaib nescaya kamu dengan perbuatan yang demikian menjadilah orang-orang yang rugi".

90  他的宗族中不信道的贵族们说：如果你们顺从舒阿卜，那末你们一定是亏折的人。

٩١  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

٩١  فأخذَتْ قومَ شعيب الزلزلةُ الشديدة، فأصبحوا في دارهم صرعى ميتين.

91  So the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.

91  Maka mereka dibinasakan oleh gempa, lalu menjadilah mereka mayat-mayat yang tersungkur di tempat masing-masing.

91  于是，地震袭击了他们，顷刻之间，他们都僵卧在各人的家里。

٩٢  الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۚ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ

٩٢  الذين كذَّبوا شعيبًا كأنهم لم يقيموا في ديارهم، ولم يتمتعوا فيها، حيث استؤصلوا، فلم يبق لهم أثر، وأصابهم الخسران والهلاك في الدنيا والآخرة.

92  Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was as though they had never resided there. Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was they who were the losers.

92  Orang-orang yang mendustakan Nabi Syuaib (punah-ranah) seolah-olah mereka tidak pernah mendiami negeri itu. Orang-orang yang mendustakan Nabi Syuaib, merekalah orang-orang yang rugi.

92  否认舒阿卜的人，好像没有在那个城市里居住过一样。否认舒阿卜的人，确是亏折的。

٩٣  فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ آسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ

٩٣  فأعرض شعيب عنهم حينما أيقن بحلول العذاب بهم، وقال: يا قوم لقد أبلغتكم رسالات ربي، ونصحت لكم بالدخول في دين الله والإقلاع عما أنتم عليه، فلم تسمعوا ولم تطيعوا، فكيف أحزن على قوم جحدوا وحدانية الله وكذبوا رسله؟

93  And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"

93  Kemudian Nabi Syuaib meninggalkan mereka sambil berkata: "Wahai kaumku! Sesungguhnya aku telah menyampaikan kepada kamu perintah-perintah Tuhanku, dan aku telah memberi nasihat kepada kamu. Oleh itu, tidaklah aku merasa sedih terhadap orang-orang kafir (yang telah binasa itu)".

93  于是，他离开他们，并且说：我的宗族啊！我确已把我的主的使命传达给你们了，并向你们提出了忠告。我怎能哀悼不信道的民众呢！

٩٤  وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

٩٤  وما أرسلنا في قرية من نبي يدعوهم إلى عبادة الله، وينهاهم عمَّا هم فيه من الشرك، فكذَّبه قومه، إلا ابتليناهم بالبأساء والضراء، فأصبناهم في أبدانهم بالأمراض والأسقام، وفي أموالهم بالفقر والحاجة؛ رجاء أن يستكينوا، وينيبوا إلى الله، ويرجعوا إلى الحق.

94  And We sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that We seized its people with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to Allah].

94  Dan (Tuhan berfirman): Kami tidak mengutus dalam sesebuah negeri seorang Nabi (yang didustakan oleh penduduknya), melainkan Kami timpakan mereka dengan kesusahan (kesempitan hidup) dan penderitaan (penyakit), supaya mereka tunduk merendah diri (insaf dan tidak berlaku sombong takbur).

94  我-派遣一个先知到一个城市去，（而他被人否认），我总要以穷困和患难惩治其居民，以便他们谦逊。

٩٥  ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوْا وَقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

٩٥  ثم بدَّلنا الحالة الطيبة الأولى مكان الحالة السيئة، فأصبحوا في عافية في أبدانهم، وسَعَة ورخاء في أموالهم؛ إمهالا لهم، ولعلهم يشكرون، فلم يُفِد معهم كل ذلك، ولم يعتبروا ولم ينتهوا عمَّا هم فيه، وقالوا: هذه عادة الدهر في أهله، يوم خير ويوم شر، وهو ما جرى لآبائنا من قبل، فأخذناهم بالعذاب فجأة وهم آمنون، لا يخطر لهم الهلاك على بال.

95  Then We exchanged in place of the bad [condition], good, until they increased [and prospered] and said, "Our fathers [also] were touched with hardship and ease." So We seized them suddenly while they did not perceive.

95  Setelah (mereka tidak juga insaf) Kami gantikan kesusahan itu dengan kesenangan hingga mereka kembang biak (serta senang-lenang) dan berkata (dengan angkuhnya): "Sesungguhnya nenek moyang kita juga pernah merasai kesusahan dan kesenangan (sebagaimana yang kita rasakan)". Lalu Kami timpakan mereka (dengan azab seksa) secara mengejut, dan mereka tidak menyedarinya.

95  随后我转祸为福，直到他们富庶，并且说：我们的祖先确已遭过患难，享过康乐了。于是，当他们不知不觉时，我惩治他们。

According to the US Religious Freedom Report of 2006 there are about 2000 North Africans currently living in Andorra (out of 72,000) and they are the largest Muslim group in the country.[1]

Institutions

The Muslim community has an Islamic Cultural Center which provides about 50 students with Arabic lessons. The government and the Muslim community have not yet agreed on a system which would enable the schools to give such lessons.

There is no specifically built mosque in Andorra and the government refuses to allocate land for such a project, saying there are not enough low-priced lands. In 2003 the local imam, Mohamed Raguig, petitioned Bishop Joan Martí Alanis asking for either land from the Church in order to build a mosque or for space inside a church to be used as a mosque.[2]

History

At around 700, the Muslims conquered the area from the Visigoths, through the Segre valley. The Muslims did not really stay in Andorra, rather using it as a shortcut to get to Toulouse, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Nîmes.

The Battle of Poitiers and the Battle of Roncesvalles marked the end of those expeditions to the other part of the Pyrenees.

According to Antoni Filter i Rossell in his history book the Manual Digest (1748), in 788, 5000 Andorrans, led by Marc Almugàver came to Charlemagne's assistance in the Vall de Carol in fighting the Muslims. After the battle, Charlemagne gave his protection to Andorra and declared them as a sovereign people.[3]

Tafsir Muyassar :  تفسير المیسر

٨٢  وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

٨٢  وما كان جواب قوم لوط حين أنكر عليهم فعلهم الشنيع إلا أن قال بعضهم لبعض: أخرجوا لوطًا وأهله من بلادكم، إنه ومن تبعه أناس يتنزهون عن إتيان أدبار الرجال والنساء.

٨٣  فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

٨٣  فأنجى الله لوطًا وأهله من العذاب حيث أمره بمغادرة ذلك البلد، إلا امرأته، فإنها كانت من الهالكين الباقين في عذاب الله.

٨٤  وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

٨٤  وعذَّب الله الكفار من قوم لوط بأن أنزل عليهم مطرًا من الحجارة، وقلب بلادهم، فجعل عاليها سافلها، فانظر -أيها الرسول- كيف صارت عاقبة الذين اجترؤوا على معاصي الله وكذبوا رسله.

٨٥  وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۗ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

٨٥  ولقد أرسلنا إلى قبيلة "مدين" أخاهم شعيبًا عليه السلام، فقال لهم: يا قوم اعبدوا الله وحده لا شريك له؛ ليس لكم مِن إله يستحق العبادة غيره جل وعلا فأخلصوا له العبادة، قد جاءكم برهان من ربكم على صِدْق ما أدعوكم إليه، فأدوا للناس حقوقهم بإيفاء الكيل والميزان، ولا تنقصوهم حقوقهم فتظلموهم، ولا تفسدوا في الأرض -بالكفر والظلم- بعد إصلاحها بشرائع الأنبياء السابقين عليهم السلام. ذلك الذي دعوتكم إليه خير لكم في دنياكم وأخراكم، إن كنتم مصدقيَّ فيما دعوتكم إليه، عاملين بشرع الله.

٨٦  وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖ وَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

٨٦  ولا تقعدوا بكل طريق تتوعدون الناس بالقتل، إن لم يعطوكم أموالهم، وتصدُّون عن سبيل الله القويم من صدَّق به عز وجل، وعمل صالحًا، وتبغون سبيل الله أن تكون معوجة، وتميلونها اتباعًا لأهوائكم، وتنفِّرون الناس عن اتباعها. واذكروا نعمة الله تعالى عليكم إذ كان عددكم قليلا فكثَّركم، فأصبحتم أقوياء عزيزين، وانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين في الأرض، وما حلَّ بهم من الهلاك والدمار؟

٨٧  وَإِنْ كَانَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْكُمْ آمَنُوا بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَائِفَةٌ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

٨٧  وإن كان جماعة منكم صدَّقوا بالذي أرسلني الله به، وجماعة لم يصدِّقوا بذلك، فانتظروا أيها المكذبون قضاء الله الفاصل بيننا وبينكم حين يحلُّ عليكم عذابه الذي أنذرتكم به. والله -جلَّ وعلا- هو خير الحاكمين بين عباده.

Saheeh International

٨٢  وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

82  But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."

٨٣  فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

83  So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those who remained [with the evildoers].

٨٤  وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

84  And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals.

٨٥  وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۗ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

85  And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. So fulfill the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.

٨٦  وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖ وَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

86  And do not sit on every path, threatening and averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was the end of the corrupters.

٨٧  وَإِنْ كَانَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْكُمْ آمَنُوا بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَائِفَةٌ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

87  And if there should be a group among you who has believed in that with which I have been sent and a group that has not believed, then be patient until Allah judges between us. And He is the best of judges."

Basmeih

٨٢  وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

82  Dan tidak ada jawab dari kaumnya selain daripada berkata: "Usirlah mereka (Nabi Lut dan pengikut-pengikutnya yang taat) dari bandar kamu ini, sesungguhnya mereka adalah orang-orang yang (mendakwa) mensucikan diri".

٨٣  فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

83  Maka Kami selamatkan dia dan keluarganya (serta pengikut-pengikutnya) melainkan isterinya, adalah ia dari orang-orang yang dibinasakan.

٨٤  وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

84  Dan Kami telah menghujani mereka dengan hujan (batu yang membinasakan). Oleh itu, lihatlah, bagaimana akibat orang-orang yang melakukan kesalahan.

٨٥  وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۗ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

85  Dan kepada penduduk Madyan (Kami utuskan) saudara mereka Nabi Syuaib. Ia berkata: "Wahai kaum sembahlah kamu akan Allah, (sebenarnya) tiada Tuhan bagi kamu selain daripadaNya. Sesungguhnya telah datang kepada kamu keterangan yang nyata dari Tuhan kamu. Oleh itu, sempurnakanlah sukatan dan timbangan, dan janganlah kamu kurangkan bagi manusia akan benda-benda dan perkara-perkara yang menjadi haknya; dan janganlah kamu berbuat kerosakan di muka bumi sesudah Allah menjadikannya (makmur teratur) dengan sebaik-baiknya. Yang demikian itu lebih baik bagi kamu jika betul kamu orang-orang yang beriman.

٨٦  وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖ وَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

86  "Dan janganlah kamu duduk pada tiap-tiap jalan lalu-lalang, dengan menakut-nakutkan dan menghalangi orang-orang yang beriman dari melalui jalan Allah, dan kamu pula menghendaki supaya jalan Allah itu bengkok terpesong. Dan ingatlah semasa kamu dahulu sedikit bilangannya lalu Allah menjadikan kamu kembang ramai, serta perhatikanlah bagaimana akibat orang-orang yang berbuat kerosakan.

٨٧  وَإِنْ كَانَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْكُمْ آمَنُوا بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَائِفَةٌ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

87  "Dan jika ada segolongan dari kamu beriman kepada wahyu (perintah-perintah Allah) yang aku telah diutuskan untuk menyampaikannya, dan segolongan lagi tidak beriman, maka sabarlah sehingga Allah menjalankan hukumNya di antara kita semua, dan Dia lah jua sebaik-baik hakim".

Ma Jian

٨٢  وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

82  他的宗族唯一的答覆是说：你们把他们逐出城外，因为他们确是纯洁的民众！

٨٣  فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

83  我拯救了他和他的信徒，没有拯救他的女人，她是和其余的人同受刑罚的。

٨٤  وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

84  我曾降大雨去伤他们，你看看犯罪者的结局是怎样的。

٨٥  وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۗ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

85  （我确已派遣）麦德彦人的弟兄舒阿卜去教化他们说：我的宗族啊！你们要崇拜真主，除他之外，绝无应受你们崇拜的。从你们的主发出的明证，确已来临你们了，你们当使用充足的斗和秤，不要克扣别人所应得的货物。在改善地方之后，你们不要在地方上作恶，这对你们是更好的，如果你们是信道者。

٨٦  وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖ وَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

86  你们不要伺候在-条道路上，恐吓别人和阻止确信真主的人入真主的大道，而且想暗示它是邪路。你们应该记得，你们原是少数的，随后他使你们的人口增多，你们看看作恶者的结局是怎样的。

٨٧  وَإِنْ كَانَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْكُمْ آمَنُوا بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَائِفَةٌ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

87  如果你们当中有一伙人确信我的使命，有一伙人不信它，那末，你们要忍耐，直到真主为我们判决。他是最公正的判决者。

Tafsir Muyassar  تفسير المیسر : Saheeh International : Basmeih : Ma Jian

٨٢  وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

٨٢  وما كان جواب قوم لوط حين أنكر عليهم فعلهم الشنيع إلا أن قال بعضهم لبعض: أخرجوا لوطًا وأهله من بلادكم، إنه ومن تبعه أناس يتنزهون عن إتيان أدبار الرجال والنساء.

82  But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."

82  Dan tidak ada jawab dari kaumnya selain daripada berkata: "Usirlah mereka (Nabi Lut dan pengikut-pengikutnya yang taat) dari bandar kamu ini, sesungguhnya mereka adalah orang-orang yang (mendakwa) mensucikan diri".

82  他的宗族唯一的答覆是说：你们把他们逐出城外，因为他们确是纯洁的民众！

٨٣  فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

٨٣  فأنجى الله لوطًا وأهله من العذاب حيث أمره بمغادرة ذلك البلد، إلا امرأته، فإنها كانت من الهالكين الباقين في عذاب الله.

83  So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those who remained [with the evildoers].

83  Maka Kami selamatkan dia dan keluarganya (serta pengikut-pengikutnya) melainkan isterinya, adalah ia dari orang-orang yang dibinasakan.

83  我拯救了他和他的信徒，没有拯救他的女人，她是和其余的人同受刑罚的。

٨٤  وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

٨٤  وعذَّب الله الكفار من قوم لوط بأن أنزل عليهم مطرًا من الحجارة، وقلب بلادهم، فجعل عاليها سافلها، فانظر -أيها الرسول- كيف صارت عاقبة الذين اجترؤوا على معاصي الله وكذبوا رسله.

84  And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals.

84  Dan Kami telah menghujani mereka dengan hujan (batu yang membinasakan). Oleh itu, lihatlah, bagaimana akibat orang-orang yang melakukan kesalahan.

84  我曾降大雨去伤他们，你看看犯罪者的结局是怎样的。

٨٥  وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۗ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

٨٥  ولقد أرسلنا إلى قبيلة "مدين" أخاهم شعيبًا عليه السلام، فقال لهم: يا قوم اعبدوا الله وحده لا شريك له؛ ليس لكم مِن إله يستحق العبادة غيره جل وعلا فأخلصوا له العبادة، قد جاءكم برهان من ربكم على صِدْق ما أدعوكم إليه، فأدوا للناس حقوقهم بإيفاء الكيل والميزان، ولا تنقصوهم حقوقهم فتظلموهم، ولا تفسدوا في الأرض -بالكفر والظلم- بعد إصلاحها بشرائع الأنبياء السابقين عليهم السلام. ذلك الذي دعوتكم إليه خير لكم في دنياكم وأخراكم، إن كنتم مصدقيَّ فيما دعوتكم إليه، عاملين بشرع الله.

85  And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. So fulfill the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.

85  Dan kepada penduduk Madyan (Kami utuskan) saudara mereka Nabi Syuaib. Ia berkata: "Wahai kaum sembahlah kamu akan Allah, (sebenarnya) tiada Tuhan bagi kamu selain daripadaNya. Sesungguhnya telah datang kepada kamu keterangan yang nyata dari Tuhan kamu. Oleh itu, sempurnakanlah sukatan dan timbangan, dan janganlah kamu kurangkan bagi manusia akan benda-benda dan perkara-perkara yang menjadi haknya; dan janganlah kamu berbuat kerosakan di muka bumi sesudah Allah menjadikannya (makmur teratur) dengan sebaik-baiknya. Yang demikian itu lebih baik bagi kamu jika betul kamu orang-orang yang beriman.

٨٦  ولا تقعدوا بكل طريق تتوعدون الناس بالقتل، إن لم يعطوكم أموالهم، وتصدُّون عن سبيل الله القويم من صدَّق به عز وجل، وعمل صالحًا، وتبغون سبيل الله أن تكون معوجة، وتميلونها اتباعًا لأهوائكم، وتنفِّرون الناس عن اتباعها. واذكروا نعمة الله تعالى عليكم إذ كان عددكم قليلا فكثَّركم، فأصبحتم أقوياء عزيزين، وانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين في الأرض، وما حلَّ بهم من الهلاك والدمار؟

86  And do not sit on every path, threatening and averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was the end of the corrupters.

86  "Dan janganlah kamu duduk pada tiap-tiap jalan lalu-lalang, dengan menakut-nakutkan dan menghalangi orang-orang yang beriman dari melalui jalan Allah, dan kamu pula menghendaki supaya jalan Allah itu bengkok terpesong. Dan ingatlah semasa kamu dahulu sedikit bilangannya lalu Allah menjadikan kamu kembang ramai, serta perhatikanlah bagaimana akibat orang-orang yang berbuat kerosakan.

٨٧  وإن كان جماعة منكم صدَّقوا بالذي أرسلني الله به، وجماعة لم يصدِّقوا بذلك، فانتظروا أيها المكذبون قضاء الله الفاصل بيننا وبينكم حين يحلُّ عليكم عذابه الذي أنذرتكم به. والله -جلَّ وعلا- هو خير الحاكمين بين عباده.

87  And if there should be a group among you who has believed in that with which I have been sent and a group that has not believed, then be patient until Allah judges between us. And He is the best of judges."

87  "Dan jika ada segolongan dari kamu beriman kepada wahyu (perintah-perintah Allah) yang aku telah diutuskan untuk menyampaikannya, dan segolongan lagi tidak beriman, maka sabarlah sehingga Allah menjalankan hukumNya di antara kita semua, dan Dia lah jua sebaik-baik hakim".
